Hey, everyone! How's it going! I hope you're all good, and not getting sick from this flip-flopping weather (make up your mind, Mother Nature!!). And again, THANK YOU to the anonymous Deviants who gave me a Core membership! For real, thank you so much
So...how about that Nintendo Switch presentation? Eh? Eh?!
Sadly, I missed the presentation (what kind of a Nintendo fan am I?
), but I did watch the game trailers. Most notably, Super Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors (Marth, Roy, Lucina, Chrom, Robin, Ike, Lyn
), Sonic Mania, Super Bomberman R, and of course...
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Now, this game is coming out for both the Wii U AND the Switch March 3rd, along with the Switch itself. When I saw that last week, that release date didn't sink in until today. That's a couple of months away
Of course, I'm super excited, the game looks absolutely GORGEOUS, there's voice acting (that's done very well, IMHO), the world is freakin' massive, the Zora, Gorons, and maybe the Gerudo are back... Yep. I am milking this game for all its worth
I was going to get the Wii U version because according to Nintendo, the games are the exact same, save for the graphics on the Switch being more detailed. There was no point in spending $299 on another system for one game. But then, I read an article about how much space is needed to play the game.
It takes up 40% of the Switch's memory (if you by a digital copy), and you need 13 GB of space on the Wii U. ...That's a problem. I already cleaned up some space in my Wii U by deleting some stuff, and that only left me with 10 GB of memory available. I will have to delete at least one game to have enough space to play Breath of the Wild, and I don't want to do that. I'm still playing those games. Unless there is a way to expand the memory in the Wii U without having to delete any of my games that the people in Gamestop didn't tell me about
, I'll have to get the Switch. I mean, $299 isn't bad for a game console, but given my current situation, it looks like I'll have to avoid spoilers for...about four months after it's released. Oiiee...
And while I'm thinking about it, does anyone else think that this woman is a Gerudo? -->zeldawiki.org/images/c/c9/BotW…
I mean, she has the dark skin, the red hair, the long nose, she dresses like a Gerudo, and she's very pretty. She has pointed ears and green eyes, so she may be half-Hylian. Most Hylians have blue eyes, the Gerudo have yellow eyes, so...
And I'm gonna call it now; this woman is the Great Fairy -->zeldawiki.org/images/3/30/BotW…
Man, March is gonna be a good month! Switch is released, BotW is a launch title, AND Beauty and the Beast is out on St. Paddy's Day! Get hyped!!!
